A hotel offering style, convenience and character, and adjoining a quiet and charming Central London garden square, base2stay Kensington is situated in an ideal location, only a few minutes walk from either Earls Court or Gloucester Road underground stations. When exiting Earls Court tube station, follow signs for Earls Court Road.

If you are planning to travel to or from Earl's Court Tube station, there are two lifts out of service due to some refurbishment work, until March 2012. The lifts are between the Earl's Court Road ticket hall and the Piccadilly line platforms, and passengers who need to gain access to or from the Piccadilly line will need to do so via the District line platforms. This is not a completely step-free route as there are fixed stairways between the platforms. Passengers who are unable to use stairs should use the District or Piccadilly lines to get to Hammersmith station for alternative routes.

There are six local bus routes that take you to South Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Putney, Notting Hill, Shepherd's Bush, Richmond and Clapham. 

Many of London's main tourist attractions such as the Royal Albert Hall, Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Science Museum, Kensington Palace, and Kensington Palace Gardens with the famous Peter Pan statue, are all within walking distance or a short bus or tube ride away from our Kensington hotel.
