base2stay was created by entrepreneur Robert Nadler with backing from Sir John Mactaggart's Western Heritable Investment Company Limited. base2stay, acknowledged as one of the innovators of the luxury budget hotel concept, opened their first hotel in Kensington, London to great acclaim in 2006.  base2stay Kensington is consistently popular with new and returning guests, and is ranked in the top 20 hotels in London by Tripadvisor. base2stay Liverpool is the second property to open under the base2stay brand and, since opening in August 2010, is consistently ranked in the Top 5 for Liverpool Hotels on Tripadvisor.

A roll-out programme for base2stay affordable luxury budget boutique hotels is planned in those convenient, desirable locations sought by an exacting clientele.
